  • Where does The Franklin Princess work?

    Nina is available for appearances anywhere in Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Belle Meade, Thompson Station, Spring Hill, Nolensville, and Green Hills.

  • What happens during the character visit?

    Our princess arrives in full costume and stays fully “in character.” During the visit she will lead activities such as storytelling, singing, a mini coronation ceremony, interactive games, and photos with the birthday child and guests.

  • How long should I book a character for?

    Most birthday parties work best with a 30–60 minute visit. This gives enough time for activities, photos, and a special moment with the birthday child without overwhelming younger guests. The longer session allows for an extra activity.

  • How many children can participate?

    Our standard party package works well for up to 12 children. If you’re hosting a larger celebration, we recommend a custom consultation and extending the visit so every child gets attention.

  • What does the host need to provide?

    Very little! The host will need to pick up the treasure chest outside to assist the character so they can arrive with full surprise and engagement. Open space that allows for singing, dancing and movement. If there is an activity, a table and chairs will be needed. For music it can be discussed. However the princess will always have a speaker with her.

  • How far in advance should I book?

    As far in advance as you know you will need them. Contact The Franklin Princess for availability early in the party planning process so you can plan a great event together. Always check dates with Nina, since sometimes there is late notice availability or last minute cancellations.

  • How will I pay the character?

    50% of the fee is due at contract signing, the remainder is due at the event.

  • Will I need to help the character during the event?

    A little! We ask that a parent or adult stay nearby throughout the party—not to host, but to lend a hand if anything comes up.


    Before the fun begins, we'll need someone to grab the princess's activity bag from her and help with any music or setup. This allows her to stay in character and keep the magic alive for the children. Your presence also helps if a little one needs a moment of extra comfort or assistance during the celebration.

  • When should the character visit during the event?

    For a magical and seamless experience, we recommend scheduling the princess to arrive 20-30 minutes after your party’s official start time. This gives guests time to settle in, use the restroom, and get comfortable—so the moment the princess walks in, everyone is ready to be wowed.


    To ensure a smooth and memorable exit, the princess will wrap up her visit by leading the "Happy Birthday" song and the Royal Crowning. This serves as her final activity, creating a natural and joyful conclusion to her time with the group. After the candles are blown out, she’ll bid a fond farewell—leaving you and your guests to enjoy cake and continue the celebration on your own.

  • What if the weather looks bad for my outdoor event?

    The princess loves making magical memories, but her royal attire simply isn't meant for rain! If there's rain in the forecast—or if the ground is still wet from a recent downpour—we'll work together to find a solution.


    We're happy to move the fun indoors, reschedule your event, or explore other options to ensure your celebration is still magical and stress-free. Just keep me in the loop as your party day approaches, and we'll make a plan that works for everyone.

  • What if I need to cancel?

    If you must cancel your royal celebration, your 50% deposit is non-refundable—it helps secure the princess's journey to your castle. I would love to discuss alternative dates for the party to be rescheduled and a chance for the princess to celebrate with you and your children.


    Should The Franklin Princess ever need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

  • What if the character I want isn't on the website?

    If your heart is set on a princess not yet featured in the royal court, you may request a custom appearance! Simply let me know, and I'll see if I can make the magic happen.


    Please allow at least two months' advance notice, and note that a custom princess requires an additional fee of around $500 (depending on the character and cost of the costume). Once I've gathered the details, I'll give you a final quote before we begin.
